The Robert M. Rogers Nursing and Health Sciences Building on the Tyler Junior College campus provides a prominent new entrance to the campus and consists of a four-story reinforced concrete structure with 136,400 SF of additional space to support the Nursing and Health Sciences degree programs. The building contains classrooms, faculty offices, teaching labs, simulator labs, teaching clinics and student collaboration spaces. The additional space also accommodates a new dental clinic that operates as both an educational laboratory and a community service. The building will play an important role in increasing the number of qualified healthcare professionals in the East Texas region.
