Woodrow Wilson High School Addition and Renovation
Dallas ISD
As part of the 2015 Dallas ISD Bond Program, the historic Woodrow Wilson High School received much needed upgrades. A 60,000-plus SF addition added a new gymnasium and locker room, fine arts space and 24 teaching spaces with a focus on engineering, labs and their robotics program. The new competition gym is an ICC 500 storm shelter and will able to accommodate every student and staff member of the high school and adjacent middle school if the need arises. An elevator was also added for the three-story addition. None of the historical protected portions of the school were removed and various renovations were made to the current school.
