During his more than 40 years as a structural engineering professional, Tom has designed and managed projects for a wide range of project types — including federal, municipal, educational, religious and commercial buildings. His expertise has provided structural designs for numerous projects that meet U.S. Department of Defense criteria for Design of Buildings to Resist Progressive Collapse and for Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection blast loads.

What made you want to become an engineer: An interest in math and science while in a small high school in Texas. I was asked in high school if I was going to drive a train. Sure glad engineers do something other than drive trains.
