Jesus brings over a decade of experience in structural analysis and design, development of construction details, project management, and production of contract documents to the JQ team. Jesus’ experience ranges from mid and high rise construction, residential, commercial, mixed-use, industrial, government, and higher ed projects, as well as master planning, condition assessments/evaluation, and the design of modifications and new structures at water and wastewater facilities.

People would be surprised if they knew: I have a 60 lb pet tortoise.

What’s your favorite project you’ve worked on at JQ? The TAMU College of Dentistry Building here in Dallas, TX. It’s a large, complex project that I had the pleasure to design, manage, and work through until completion. JQ, the architects, and contractor for that project were all on the same page during construction, and we were able to get through the entire project without any major hiccups.

What are you most passionate about in your profession? I enjoy working on projects that have a real world impact on our community - Many of our projects deal with improving critical infrastructure that has impacts for thousands of people in the DFW area (and beyond).
