Talk to me about: Knitting, old movies, my fur babies (a cat, a dog and two bunnies), Texas Tech football

People would be surprised if they knew: Between undergrad and grad school I spent a month or so working at a car dealership selling cars. I even won 2nd place in a sales contest.

What made you want to become an engineer: I had always thought I wanted to be an architect. Then I got into my design studios and found out how subjective it can be. About that time I was taking my structural and construction related courses and realized that’s what I wanted to do.

What are you most passionate about in your profession: Providing a quality project and ultimately having a happy owner. Also, continuously looking to learn new things. I learn something new every day and strive to use what I’ve learned to make every project better than the last.
