More than a standalone performance space, Arlington ISD’s Center for Visual and Performing Arts is a comprehensive fine arts facility with classroom spaces for advanced focused courses, visual arts studios, a dance studio, 1250-seat venue with fly loft, concert hall and associated support areas. Designed for optimal acoustics and superior functionality, the event spaces offer an unrivaled experience. The team brought design elements from world renowed performance facilities and incorporated them here in AISD’s home to help the these amazing student performers and artists excel. The venue also features a formal visual art gallery. This facility was designed to have an ICC 500 code-compliant storm shelter.
