At a firm pumping capacity of 335 MGD, the IPS will be the largest and deepest Vertical Turbine Solids Handling (VTSH) installation in the United States, and the world’s largest HI trench type self-cleaning wet well. JQ served as structural engineer of record for the project responsible for design of the influent control structures, screenings handling facility, VTSH pump station, electrical building, bio-filter complex for odor control, and numerous valve and meter vault structures.
