The project provides flexible, open, and modular high-tech interdisciplinary research laboratories, principal research investigator offices, core instrumentation facilities, support space and conference rooms to foster Texas Tech’s growing research enterprise. The facilities house needed state-of-the-art instruments and support for research in areas of state and national need being conducted by the larger campus Research & Development community. To provide ultimate flexibility for multiple end users, the labs were designed as flexible, open, and modular high-tech interdisciplinary research laboratories based around themes of use.
