The project included the expansion of the existing land port of entry from 4.5 acres to 14.7 acres. New improvements including a main building, primary and secondary inspection canopies, kennel, export docks, commercial building, hazardous material commercial inspection area, narcotics vault, commercial booth, sally port, vehicle processing area, non-intrusive inspection system (NIIS), parking and staging areas, and site drainage improvements including retention.  The existing LPOE remained operational during all construction activities. This project attained LEED Sites status.
