SoCo Urban Lofts Facade and Structural Repairs

SoCo Urban Loft Condominiums

Originally constructed in 1930, the Santa Fe Railroad Building in Dallas has been converted into downtown lofts. JQ conducted an extensive facilities assessment and repairs of the 10-story, 360,000 SF building’s facade. The exterior components consisted of brick masonry veneer and cast stone units. Repairs to the building included mortar joint, anchorage systems and joint sealants to restore the structural and weatherproofing integrity of the exterior envelope. Two below-grade parking levels that extend under the adjacent streets also required extensive repair of the concrete frame.
