Indoor Practice Facility

University of North Texas

The project consists of a new 94,303 SF indoor practice facility at the University of North Texas campus in Denton, Texas.  The multi-use facility will be used primarily for football with an ancillary use for track and field, and soccer.  The project also includes storage space, filming/viewing platforms, entry lobby, alumni/recruiting lounge, kitchenette, and viewing areas into the practice facility.   The indoor practice facility is constructed of a pre-engineered metal building supported on drilled piers and grade beams. The secondary areas are constructed of structural steel supported on drilled piers with a concrete slab over void forms.
