Restoration and addition to the historic 1963 William J. Layland Museum in Cleburne, Texas. The museum houses records, events and maintains archives documenting new construction, roadways, improvements, and people in the community throughout history. The restoration work included repairs and replacement of the concrete floor slab, recreation of the north half of the primary lobby stairway, and strengthening of the new slate roof. The addition houses notable artifacts including Gen. Patrick R, Cleburne’s Colt pistol and saddle as well as Native American pottery and beadwork.
