Harry Ransom Center serves as the humanities research library and museum at the University of Texas at Austin, and is home to one of the world's finest cultural archives facility. The renovation of this project allowed for the facility to be filled with light by opened the space to the outdoors. The design added new exhibit spaces, a 125-seat theater, meeting rooms and research areas within the existing space. The once windowless ground floor has been transformed into a museum-like space and is visible through newly added, etched glass of images and text from the museum's vast collection.
