Community Involvement
In our professional lives, the Jaster-Quintanilla commitment is singular: shaping the built environment. Yet in our personal lives, the privilege of shaping our communities can take many different forms. That's why we encourage our staff to get involved in programs that allow them to share their talents and cultivate their interests as they work to enrich the lives of others.
No matter how busy things may get around the Jaster-Quintanilla offices, an overwhelming number of our employees regularly make time to give back to their communities or set aside charitable contributions for those in need. Recent highlights of our involvement include:
United Way: JQ is a participant in the United Way Foundation
Hearts and Hammers: home renovations for those in need
Mentoring Programs: targeting high school students who have expressed an interest in architecture, construction, or engineering
Ace Mentoring: The ACE Mentor Program was founded by the principals of leading design and construction firms, to introduce high school students to career opportunities in the industry. http://www.acementor.org
Pro Bono Work: providing engineering or surveying services at no charge to nonprofit groups
